January 2010
I went on a walk with my fam this morning. My dad and I picked up garbage from the ditches and put it in a giant bag. My mom lead us in skipping. I fed the red horse I named Hosana, and then went to feed the black and white cows with the curly fur. I got zapped by the electric fence, and felt the shock go through my entire body. Scariest thing I’ve had happen in a long time. I almost got...

Tazo tea + A Prairie Home Companion on the radio + a big pile of books from the library = bliss. :)
So flipping funny.
I managed to scrape by in Geometry with an A for the Semester, even with an 86 on the last test. :D
I hope you don’t go through life trying to not get hurt. Because if you...

You win at life.
DUH!
Numerous times each.
Today’s schedule:
Go to school, talk to Mr. P about Geometry final. Take Geometry final, hopefully get an A! Relax a bit at break with the boy and help Madi decide which dress to wear to Winter Formal. Percussion- Not sure if we actually have any sort of final. I think Mr. O said Mr. Monroe would tell him who can play the rhythms and who can’t. CAN. :) Hang out at school till...
Today!
Today was good. Much much better than I thought it’d be. First block, did my packet with Timo and laughed at Eli and his comic strip. “So, the name of my comic is ‘Shape Wars’ and I’m thinking… All the main characters, should be shapes.” No, really? Hahaha. :) Joked around like usual, Mr. P is such a nice teacher to have first thing. Second block, not so...
Ethnicity test: Corrected! Migration test: Almost corrected. Science study guide: 3/4 done. Geometry study guide: Errmm… I’ve done some problems.. I promise. Ignoring the last one, I think it’s time for a mental break. :)

I HAVE NO HOMEWORK.
Heck yes. :)
Ohhh my, I’m sore. I have to swim the JV 100 free today, ugghh. On the upside, today’s an A day. Horray for easier classes! Our trebuchet is gonna own today. Now that we’ll have consistent weights. Super duper stoked for this weekend: Sleep over at Tacey & Sorens, plus Winter Formal with my girlies. :)
Happy Thursday!

5:39am.
I’m up early for morning swim practice. I had some bizzaro dreams, and a couple nightmares. The wind kept me up for a while too, sounding like the wind in The Wizard of Oz, right before the tornado comes along and plucks poor Dorothy up. Now I get to go swim for an hour, and then to school. Thank goodness it’s an A day. Ciao!
I swear to god, if I see one more “Harry Potter is in love with Draco” picture on the internet, I’m going to scream.

I think there’s something a little wrong with a person if they can’t spend one day not studying, and not feel ridiculously guilty about it.
On a completely unrelated note, I saw 500 days of Summer. That movie is a total downer. Not what I expected. I know it’s not a love story, but a story about love, shouldn’t it leave you feeling a little hopeful? Sarah put it perfectly:...
